Ian Bix is a member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (MCIAT). Ian has worked in architectural design and construction for over 45 years. It has involved working for large and small architectural practices. Ian started the current business as a sole trader in 1994. The practice has grown and Ian currently employs five staff, four architectural technicians and an administrative secretary, hence the name Ian H Bix Associates Ltd.
Ian and his team have enjoyed an enormous amount of success, especially with local awards and gaining recognition upon various projects. These have included new build housing, one off dwellings, private extensions, a number of barn conversions, public house extensions and a public visitor centre.
Over the years the practice has earned a reputation for Nursing Care Homes, including new build and extensions to existing Homes. To a lesser extent they have worked upon offices, shops and industrial projects.
